In-game briefing
We’re in a pinch and hoped you could help us out. A CFP member named Target Name has vanished. Making matters worse, they were carrying a datapad stolen from the Frontier Fighters with important intel on it. We’re desperate to know what happened to Target Name · Last and that datapad. Can you help?
If so, we need you to go Location · Address, and look for Target Name · Last. There’s a Frontier Fighters presence in that area, so best be ready for anything. We’re crossing our fingers that Target Name · Last is all right. But if things went bad, we really need you to secure that datapad and bring it to Destination · Address.
Thanks again,

Straight from the game files. Highlighted parts are what the game emphasises; Dashed boxes are values the game fills in per contract.
The game file carries no objective text for this contract — it is built at runtime. Most contracts are like this. A walkthrough is the only way to document the steps.
