In-game briefing
Got a bit of a situation here involving Target Name, who was out collecting skinny on Frontier Fighters movements. Only problem is that we haven’t heard from Target Name · Last in a while. You available to go to Location · Address to see what the hell happened to ’em?
If Frontier Fighters got wise and snuffed Target Name · Last out, grab the datapad on 'em and deliver it to Destination · Address so we can pull all the important intel off it. Got it?

Straight from the game files. Highlighted parts are what the game emphasises; Dashed boxes are values the game fills in per contract.
The game file carries no objective text for this contract — it is built at runtime. Most contracts are like this. A walkthrough is the only way to document the steps.
