Orange Level Contract: Ship Needs Assistance

In-game briefing
Got an orange level contract for any available combat pilots. A Ship is under attack around Location · Address and is in desperate need for assistance. We're not sure how many perpetrators there are, but they seem motivated and dangerous so exercise caution.
Once on site, engage and destroy any hostiles you encounter and protect the client. Once they've transferred the credits, we'll route you your payment.

Straight from the game files. Highlighted parts are what the game emphasises; Dashed boxes are values the game fills in per contract.
The game file carries no objective text for this contract — it is built at runtime. Most contracts are like this. A walkthrough is the only way to document the steps.
